On December 21st, over 200 middle school students at Salmon River participated in their annual Science Fair. 108 sixth graders, 108 seventh graders, and 6 eighth graders spent weeks preparing for the big event; from choosing a topic that allows the student to do an experiment to answer a question, creating a hypotheses, collecting materials, performing your experiment, to presenting your science project to judges, students followed steps to ensure a conclusion could be drawn.
The students alone, receiving only encouragement and guidance through the scientific process, did their own experimenting, collecting of data and preparing the charts and displays for their presentation.
