The Spirit of Christmas event held at the Kawehno:ke Recreation was a huge success. The Kawehno:ke Recreation Committee would like to thank the community members and local businesses for donating to our cause. Everyone who came out and bought our tickets and especially the volunteers who helped in the concession, helped decorate and helped with the set up and clean up.

We were able to raise $14,903 and change from the concession sales and the drop ticket raffles. A sincere thank you to everyone I may have missed and a special thanks to Bronson & Eastwood Leaf who came and helped set up the tables last night.
