Robotics at Tsi Snaihne School

Submitted by Lynda Brown

Michelle Kennedy, Aboriginal Community Engagement Coordinator from Queen's University/Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, will be working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at Tsi Snaihne School to teach Science and Mathematics with robotics throughout the school year. The grade six class enjoyed using the robots to graph on the floor. The students plotted data to see how changing the scale on a graph changes the appearance. Students then programmed Dash, the robot, to travel on the line they made. A Robotics After School Club will be started after the holiday season.
