Tsi Snaihne School had their annual Cookie and Craft Night on November 29th. Nia:wen to the Parental and Family Involvement team for organizing a fantastic Cookie and Craft Night. Over 200 plates of spaghetti were served. Families came to enjoy the delicious spaghetti dinner served by Anita Mitchell and Margie Marquis and enjoy the Christmas cookie decorating and crafts, and some families just came to enjoy the Christmas activities in the gym. There were lots of fun crafts to do and everyone enjoyed decorating the homemade cookies made by staff members. The skit by Ms. Bruinsma's talented reading class was creative and stressed the importance of reading for learning and enjoyment.
Nia:wen to Annie Cook for volunteering to help. Nia:wen to Michelle Kennedy from Queen's University/Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science who volunteered to help serve cookies. Nia:wen to all the staff members that volunteered to help set up for the event and helped during the activities. In addition, staff family members also helped out throughout the evening. Nia:wen to maintenance staff for helping with numerous things throughout the evening and helping to clean up after the event.
Kathleen Herne won the 50/50 draw and Ieniehtanawentha Sharrow won the door prize.
