In action last week, the Akwesasne Wolves upped their record on the year at 4-2-1 as they won their recent game last Sunday 5-0 over the Lady Devils.
Vanna Thompson led in the shutout with two, while Taylor Armstrong, Amanda King and Haley Cree scored one each.
Another rezz team – the Stars – were defeated by the undefeated City Ladies team, 3-1. Taylor Francis scored that lone goal. That came in the second half as there were three City Ladies players in the packed crease and Francis nudged the ball and it trickled in through the crowd.
