COUNSELOR

Salary Level: HS05 $44,446.34 - $46,224.20

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting all in-shelter programs and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in the Social Field or

• Two (2) years Social Service or equivalent diploma, with three (3) years working with women, men and children in crisis.

• Education/experience in mental health and addictions, certification as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAC) is an asset.
