Permanent Full Time Position Salary: MG08 $59,515.66 – 61,896.29
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction and leadership of the Associate Director of Post-Secondary and Adult Learning, the Manager:
• Oversees the administration of the Post-Secondary program by providing assistance to students through the application process.
• Develops policy and procedures as it relates to the Post-Secondary Program.
• Ensures sound financial management of the Post-Secondary Program.
• Provides direction, leadership, advice, assistance, guidance and supervision to staff.
• Post-Secondary Planning; which includes the development, review and implementation of the long term Post-Secondary improvement plan.
• Uses tact and good judgment in order to maintain effective and positive communication with the community of Akwesasne and co-workers.
• Has an appreciation of or fluency in the Kanien’keha/Mohawk Language.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• University degree in the area of education, school counseling, business administration, or a related field with five years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of Provincial and U.S. guidelines and application process for Adult Learners and Post-Secondary funding.
OR
• Related Associates Degree in the area of education, business administration, school counseling or a related field together with 7-9 years management experience.
• Knowledge of Provincial and U.S. guidelines and application process for Adult Learners and Post-Secondary funding.
