Callout: Mohawk Indian Princess for 2018 NYS Fair

The Six Nations Agricultural Society is looking for a Mohawk Indian Princess to represent the Mohawk Nation in the Six Nations Indian Village at the New York State Fair August 22 – September 3, 2018.

Requirements include:

Enrolled Mohawk female between the ages of 16 and 24 years old as of August 22, 2018.

Never married and without children.

Must have a clan.

An ability to represent the Mohawk Nation at the New York State Fair through knowledge of language, history, and of traditional dance.

(Traditional culture and historical knowledge is not required, but is an asset).

Submit:

Full name, address and contact information, two (2) photos – a close up and full length.

A one page description / introduction to yourself including: interests, family, hobbies, activities, school / extracurricular achievements and future goals and objectives.
