Like all late season local ball tournaments played on fields without lights, this Sixth Annual tournament was played at night.
Nevertheless the championship game between the Saints and Bitter N' Bones had an exciting finish as Bitter N' Bones had a late inning rally to win 13-12.
Other teams were Shizzy, Donut Holes, Bad News Bears, St. Boys, Vee Dogs, Spoilers and War Party.
In addition to the Most Valuable Player awards, another prize was added this year. The Fastest Runner award, which went to Ty Thompson of the Saints, was presented in honor of Cheyenne "Shizzy" Smoke, who loved to run. Her family was on hand to share in the special day.
The Championship team will play in another tournament next weekend as there is one more local hurrah as the Second Annual Snye Bums Tournament takes place in Snye next weekend.
