Continuing through August, New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, SCA (Student Conservation Association), and the Nicandri Nature Center proudly present:
North Country Parks Quest every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:00 am at Coles Creek State Park and at 2:00 pm at Robert Moses State Park's Long Sault Pavilion.
Programs are active, family friendly, nature themed, FREE, and most of all fun!
There are also programs at 10 and 2 on Sundays at the Nicandri Nature Center, including a live raptor show by Mark Manske from Adirondack Raptors every Sunday at 2.
There are still lots of fun nature themed activities scheduled twice a day for the remainder of the summer. Don't miss this chance to pick up your Quest passport and get it stamped to show that you attended two of the Programs in the Park offered at Coles Creek or Robert Moses State Parks. Then visit these three fun sites: Hawkins Point Visitors Center, Nicandri Nature Center, and Eisenhower Locks to get your passport stamped.
Fill your passport with five stamps for attending programs and visiting sites, and you will earn a patch.
This opportunity is free and open to kids 18 and under.
