The St. Regis Braves quickly pulled ahead of the Caughnawaga Indians and held onto that lead for an eventual 18-6 win.
The two teams met on the Braves home turf, Massena Arena, on June 28.
St. Regis gained a 7-2 lead after the end of the first period, which would hold up through the following two. They outscored their opponents 4-0 in the second and 7-4 in the third. Ty Thompson led the offense with a game-high two goals and five assists. Miles Thompson netted four goals and one assist. Blake Kenny scored three times and assisted two plays. Nick Sanseverino had four helpers. Brett Bucktooth and Kyle Lewis each had two goals and an assist. Derek Hopps scored a hat trick. Jarrett Jacobs tallied three assists. Dwight Bero had two assists. Jore Phoenix scored and assisted one time each. Sam Bradman had two assists. Ty Terrance and Geoff McNulty each had single assists. Matt Noble scored once. Tioronhiakahre Jacobs led the Indians offense with a goal and three assists. Nick Angus had three goals.
