Kanatakon School Students Rewarded for Perfect Attendance

Kanatakon School recently celebrated students who maintained perfect attendance as part of the 2016-2017 school year. Students in Headstart to grade six were rewarded with a day at the Aquatic Center and a kickball game and BBQ with local law enforcement officers from the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and the Akwesasne Mohawk Police. Students who maintained three to six months of perfect attendance were invited to the Aquatic Center, while those who maintained 12 consecutive days of perfect attendance were invited to play kickball. Kanatakon School continues to stress the importance of student attendance at school and will continue to focus on incentives to support learning. Sixty-five students received perfect attendance.
