American Legion Post 1479 Memorial Day Parade

The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by the American Legion Post 1479 will be held this Sunday, May 28th. This year’s theme is ‘Uniting Families to Honor & Remember Our Fallen.’ Line-up and check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Smokes Stacks. Parade will start promptly at noon, rain or shine, and will run from Mill Street and to the American Legion along Rt. 37. Detours will be set up prior to parade time and traffic may be backed up for an hour or so. Please drive safe and plan accordingly. For more info call 358-9976.
