I would like to thank the organizers of the North Country Honor Flight that took place last weekend and the American Legion Post 1479 for hosting us before we left.

Thank you to the motorcycle escort and to the Hogansburg Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department for honoring us by flying the huge American flag as we passed through Akwesasne.

I would also like to thank everyone including family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and the Salmon River students for all the thank you cards and letters and congratulations I received. It means a lot to me.

A special thank you to Steve Lazore who travelled with me, I couldn't have done it without you.
