A record contingent of show cars and trucks from both Canada and the US are expected to be on hand for what promises to be an even bigger show than last year.
Frenchie's Chevrolet and Frenchie's Ford will be teaming up once again this year to bring the North Country one of the most popular auto shows in our area: the "Frenchie's Great Northern N.Y. Auto Show," on East Orvis St. in Massena, N.Y. on Saturday, May
20th. The event will start at 11:00am and run until 3:00pm with registration starting at 11:00am and running until 1:00pm.
"Last year's show was a big success and a great community event," said Frenchie's President Real "Frenchie" Coupal. "It looks like this year's show is going to have a record number of entries!"
"Frenchie" went on to say that last year's event drew over 200 entries from both sides of the border and that this year's event should produce the same amount of entries, if not more!
"Muscle car shows are very popular all across the country," said show Chairperson Sue Stiles. "We had a lot of entries from the local car clubs, along with entries from clubs in eastern Ontario and Quebec that made the show a great success." Sue went on to say that because the date of the show falls on a holiday weekend in Canada, it should add to the amount of people and entries coming to Massena for the show.
The show will once again be held on East Orvis St. in the same place as last year's show. There will be other activities taking place during the show including a bouncy house, giveaways, displays from the Massena and Hogansburg volunteer fire departments, Massena Ambulance Squad, music provided by a DJ, food venders and much more.
