Akwesasne Child and Family Services, Holistic Health and Wellness, and Community Health all teamed up for their monthly evening of fun on April 13th at Saint Regis Recreation. This month's enjoyable activity was a Family Craft Night, which included a barbecue style dinner. Children and their families traveled from table to table and were able to create and assemble a variety of different Easter themed crafts. Some of the fun crafts included Easter Bath Bombs, Sock Bunnies, Flower Pots, and Easter Baskets. Even the Easter Bunny himself was there to join in on this joyful evening and take photos with families. This night of crafty and creative excitement was a success and provided a place for families to spend an evening out of the house together before the holiday weekend. Some events that this group will be hosting in the near future will be a Mother's Day Spa Day in May, and a Father's Day Poker Walk in June at Generations Park.
