MCA Announces Writing Contest Winners

(March 2, 2017) The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Communications Unit sponsored a writing contest during the recent Akwesasne Winter Carnival. Thank you to all who submitted, and especially to the Tsi Snaihne School for allowing students to participate in the contest during school hours. We are happy to announce that the following writers are winners of this year’s contest. We received many positive stories with the theme “Why Akwesasne is a Great Place” and we will share many of these stories with the public in the coming weeks.
