A Voice from the Eastern Door
This year the Parade of Nations for the Developmentally Challenged (PONDC), helping those artistically inclined, is holding an artistic contest on June 10th during the PONDC Parade and Multicultural in Long Sault (Bethune Park and Long Sault Arena) to celebrate the 150th Canada Day Anniversary.
THEME:
Artistic representation of an immediate family crest in any shape or form of art.
WINNING CRITERIA, AWARDS AND REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Five 1st place winners will receive trophies. One each from Cornwall, the Territory of Akwesasne and one for Stormont (North and South), Dundas (North and South), Glengarry (North and South) and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
Creativity: The most unusual approach to represent the family crest.
Submission of 100 words maximum (typed) describing the meaning of the artwork.
Measurement (maximum) 6 feet high, 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep

JUDGES:
There will be a total of three judges from the following areas: Cornwall, the Territory of Akwesasne and SD&G.
