MERCEDES BENZ GIVEAWAY WINNER FROM WATERTOWN, NY

(AKWESASNE, NY) – On Saturday, February 18, 2017, the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort (AMCR) concluded its Mercedes Benz Giveaway. Shelley Hale, from Watertown, NY was declared the GRAND PRIZE winner of a new 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250!

The Mercedes Benz Giveaway promotion started on January 1, 2017. To be eligible, guests earned entries for every 25 points earned.

Of the ten finalists, Shelley was the sixth participant to make her selection. The previous five (5) participants received a consolation prize of $250 slot play from their selections. Of the remaining briefcases, Shelley chose briefcase #8. While facing the crowd, the crowd excitedly joined in on the countdown from ten. When the briefcase opened, the crowd erupted with excitement and Shelley immediately began to celebrate. She was officially declared the winner and screamed with excitement and immediately put her face in her hands with disbelief.

When asked why she picked #8, Shelley stated that her son was born on the 8th day of the 8th month at 8 p.m. "We are very excited for Shelley and her family," states Director of Marketing Craig Fuller.
