NICHOLAS M. KING

AKWESASNE- Mr. Nicholas M. King, 38, of 253 Wade LaFrance Memorial Road, Snye, tragically passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his home.

Nicholas was born November 15, 1978 in Fort Hood, Texas, the son of the late Michael R. "Junior" and Sharon J. Gibbs King, and was a graduate of Salmon River Central School.

Nicholas was currently working in security for Native Trading. He was an avid stock car racing fan and was on the pit crew for Ricky Thompson Racing. Nicholas was an avid Bruins fan and truly cherished the time he was able to be outdoors – snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and fishing.

Nicholas is survived by his aunts, Annie King, Mary Mattice, and Elizabeth Gibbs; and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas was predeceased by an infant brother, Stephen R. King on April 1, 1987.

Friends may call starting Thursday at 6:00 PM at the Akwesasne Homemakers where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the spring in Kateri Cemetery.
