JEFFREY J. DAY

AKWESASNE – Mr. Jeffrey J. Day, 63, of 39 Racquette Point Road, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday morning, January 10, 2017 at his home.

Jeff was born October 19, 1953 in Syracuse, the son of the late Jacob and Grace LaFrance Day and was a graduate of Salmon River Central School. For many years, Jeff was an ironworker with Local #440 and more recently was working security for local Akwesasne businesses.

Jeff is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Tiio Thomas of Akwesasne and his grandsons, Tylar and Bryson.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Jann Day on September 25, 2014 and his brother, Theodore LaFrance Casey on April 3, 1954.
