FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Kanien’keha Curriculum & Resource Developer is responsible for the continued development of curriculum and resource materials for the Skahwatsi:ra and Core Programs of AMBE. The Kanien’keha Curriculum & Resource Developer provides training to our Kanien’keha staff using the Nero Linguistics Approach, provides support on a regular basis and insures that our cultural teachings are respectfully integrated into all areas of our curriculum. The Kanien’keha Curriculum & Resource Developer will work closely with teaching staff and school principals to support the success of our Kanien’keha programs and promote the importance of language and culture in our schools and community.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree in Education with three years of experience as a curriculum & resource developer or verifiable fluency and Training in Kanien’keha with five years related work experience.
