A Voice from the Eastern Door

St. Regis Catholic Church Has Their Annual Tree Lighting

On Saturday, December 10th, following the evening mass, community members gathered to watch the Christmas Tree Lighting. Despite the cold weather, there were around thirty people who stayed to watch the tree shine bright with glorious and colorful lights. Once the tree was lit, the group gathered in prayer. Some of the ornaments on the tree were made by the youth communion class, and were dedicated to someone they cared about or in memory of someone who passed away. This year they decided to move the location of the tree from the side of the church to across the street, so that people could view it easier. As you drive by St. Regis Catholic Church, be on the lookout for the beautiful lit up Christmas tree, and spread some holiday cheer this season.
