VOTERS SELECT YES ON ALL THREE SRMT REFERENDUM QUESTIONS

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe issued an "unofficial voting results" post of the Medical Marijuana, Industrial Hemp and Seniors Benefit referendum held on Saturday, December 3, 2016. The SRMT will wait for the appeal period to conclude to publish an "official" results press release. Tribal members have five days following the referendum to file an appeal, in accordance with the SRMT election and referendum ordinance. Approximately 550 community members voted in this referendum, estimating less than 10% of the SRMT eligible voting population participated.
