Typhoons Win Kanata Tourney

On November 11-13, a hockey tournament was held in Kanata. The championship game was won and celebrated by the Cornwall Typhoons. The exciting back and forth game was against Oakville with a final score of 3-1. Two young ladies from Akwesasne play on the team and each made a mark to help the cause. Karahkwahawe White made one of the goals in the final and Millie King was named Player of the Game for her defensive efforts. Congratulations to all the girls on the team as well as their coaches.
