Standing Rock Solidarity March Held in Akwesasne - Part 2

If you were unable to walk, but still wanted to show your support, Buggo Oakes provided a comfortable bus to ride. Inez Cook and Katsi Cook, along with Beatrice White and Rosemary Sunday in the background, ride the Warrior Hockey bus in the Solidarity March.

Originally from Akwesasne but now living in Florida, Veronica Tatlock and Laurie Dumas joined Pete Terrance in the walk.

The line of walkers stretched over a half mile distance, often stopping traffic or rerouting it during the march.

This is about half of the group who took part in the Solidarity March, others had walked on and a group had continued to the top of the American Bridge.
