On Monday, October 10/16 the Hogansburg/Akwesasne Vol. Fire Dept. Station #2 held their annual Boot Drive at the cross roads on Kawehnoke. We would like to thank the community of Akwesasne and surrounding area for their support. Special thanks to Phil and Valerie Terrance, Brooke Terrance, Marilyn Francis, and B.M.O. Bank Akwesasne, Kathy Fleming, Carmalita Swamp, Elizabeth McDonald, Laura Barnes, and Tahlia, William, Ryan & their children for volunteering to help. The Seymour family for the awesome baked goods they made for us, to all department members that helped. Also thanks to Akwesasne Mohawk Police Department and Barb Benedict for taking pictures.
