Weeks ago the Akwesasne Stars and Lady Devils ended their soccer season. Earlier this week at the Benson Center in Cornwall they started it up again.
The Cornwall Indoor Soccer league began play and the two Akwesasne based teams went 0-1-1. Early Sunday the Lady Devils lost their game 2-0 to the Glengarry Gaels and the Stars played Campeaus Angels to a 1-1 tie.
After a scoreless first half Taylor Francis got the Stars on the scoresheet.
Late in the game Kelby Mitchell rang a shot off the Campeaus Angels goalpost. The ball came downfield and Angels player Amanda Lafave scored for the tie.
