Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Blotter - 09/16/2016

On 09-08-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Lance M. Jacobs, 21, of Hogansburg, NY for inadequate brake light. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 10-10-2016.

On 09-08-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Justin A. Square, 20, of Hogansburg, NY for failure to yield right of way. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 10-03-2016.

On 09-08-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Joel L. Farrell, 29, of Massena, NY for unlicensed operation and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree-misdemeanor.

On 09-08-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Patricia A. Jacobs, 42, of Hogansburg, NY for aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree-misdemeanor, unlicensed operation, and fail to keep right. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on 10-04-2016.

On 09-10-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Jessie A. Smoke, 27, of Hogansburg, NY for obstructing governmental administration class a-misdemeanor, driving while intoxicated-misdemeanor, refusal breath test, speed in in zone 75-55 and 65-45 mph zone. Ms. Smoke was arraigned at the Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond. Ms. Smoke has a return date of 09-20-2016.

On 09-10-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Nicholas S. Francis, 25, of Hogansburg, NY for driving while intoxicated-misdemeanor, aggravated driving while intoxicated-misdemeanor, speed in zone 65-35 mph zone, operating out of class, and uninspected motor vehicle. Mr. Francis was released with citations and given a court date to the Bombay Town Court on 09-27-2016.

On 09-11-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Shawn M. Lucia, 29, of Plattsburgh, NY for speed in zone 50-35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 10-03-2016.

On 09-12-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Totawatens McDonald, 21, of Hogansburg, NY for obstructed view. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 10-03-2016.

On 09-12-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Dalston J. Day, 22, of Rooseveltown, NY for an active warrant. Mr. Day was arraigned at the Bombay Town Court and given a return date of 10-18-2016.

On 09-15-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Devon M. Johnson, 18, of St. Regis, Quebec for an active warrant. Mr. Johnson was arraigned at the Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail with no return date given.

On 09-15-2016 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Sonya L. Rockhill, 30, of Hogansburg, NY for speed in zone 50-35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 10-10-2016.

Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service Blotter

Four males arrested and one female turned over to Canada Border Services Agency for Immigration and Refugee Act investigation

On September 12, 2016 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police conducted a traffic stop on Kawehnoke and there were five occupants in the vehicle. The female driver was identified and the four male occupants of Asian descent could not speak English. Police arrested all occupants and transported them to Canada Border Services Agency for investigation of Immigration & Refugee Act.

57 yr. old woman arrested on outstanding warrant from Valleyfield Provincial Courts

On September 14, 2016 Canada Border Service Agency, Cornwall, informed the Akwesasne Mohawk Police that they have detained Debra Ann Smoke on an outstanding warrant. Police attended, arresting Ms. Smoke, executed the warrant, and released Ms. Smoke on a cash deposit and her own Recognizance to appear in court at a later date.

53 yr. old man arrested on outstanding warrant from Valleyfield Provincial Courts

On September 14, 2016 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police arrested Gary Joseph Gaetan Tremblay on an outstanding Bench warrant from Valleyfield Provincial Court. Mr. Tremblay was transported to Dundee, Quebec and turned over to the RCMP.

36 yr. old man arrested on an outstanding Bench warrant from Valleyfield Courts

On September 20, 2016 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police arrested Justin Duane Rourke on an outstanding Bench warrant from the Valleyfield Provincial Courts. Mr. Rourke was held in custody to appear in Valleyfield Provincial Courts to answer to the charges of Sexual Assault section 271, Intimidation section 423 (1), Forcible Confinement section 279 (2), Assault section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
