Tyler Armstrong Recruited for IMG

Tyler Armstrong realizes how much dedication and commitment means to reach your goals. Armstrong is a junior in Massena High and was recently recruited for the IMG Prep School in Bradenton, Florida. He hopes to spend his senior year at IMG and from there he has his eyes set on playing for a Division 1 team next year.

Armstrong was a teammate for the Iroquois Nationals and earned a Silver Medal. While on the Junior B team in 2015, he came home with the Founders Cup. He also earned the Junior B Hall of Fame honor.

Armstrong and his mother, Leanne are currently fundraising to meet the Sportsman’s Fee of $6000.00 by September 2, 2016 to participate in the IMG 2016/2017 school year. IMG is a education prep school from K5 to grade 12 students. They integrate academics, athletics, and personal development and offer challenging programs for students and athletes of all ages and abilities to maximize their potential.

The Armstrong’s are hosting a spaghetti diner on Friday, August 26 at the Hogansburg Akwesasne Fire Station #1 to assist in raising money for Tyler’s acceptance fee.
