A Voice from the Eastern Door
The weather was perfect. The food was great. And everyone had a great time. On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, Generations Park was filled with boys and girls from ages 8 to 14 playing soccer, kickball and even shooting a few rounds of lacrosse. The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police invited kids to participate in a day of fun and approximately 30 kids came out to play. With captains, officers and plenty of kids everyone had a chance at kicking, passing and scoring. Most of all everyone had a great time.
The SRMT Police served a great lunch for the kids, along with popsicles to cool off.
