MCA GENERAL MEETING POSTPONED

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that the General Meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 25, 2016 has been postponed. The General Meeting Cancellation Protocol calls for the relocation of the General Meeting in the unfortunate circumstance where a community member passes in one of the three districts. Council has decided to postpone the General Meeting because two districts have been affected by loss.

The General Meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 25, 2016 is being rescheduled to Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Tsi Snaihne at the Recreation between 6pm-8pm.

Mohawk Council extends its condolences to the families who have lost loved ones over the past week.
