Reports to: Food Services Head Cook

Location: AMBE School

Salary: Based on MCA Salary Grid

Term: Based on School Year Calendar

FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction and general supervision of the Head Cook, the Kitchen Aide will assist the Head Cook in the daily preparation and serving of meals to school children.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a secondary school diploma (grade 12) or GED equivalency; two years work experience in preparing meals in an institutional setting or have completed a recognized course for institutional cooking.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to take direction and follow instructions well; be willing to fulfill responsibilities of Head Cook when necessary; willingness to take additional training as required.
