Bench warrant: On July 19, police arrested Gerald J. Jacobs, 75, of Akwesasne, N.Y. for bench warrant from Franklin County. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond with no return date given, according to police.

Speeding: On July 21, police ticketed Tsiontenhariio Herne, 18, of Hogansburg, additionally citing operating out of class. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Aug. 16.

Inadequate brake light: On July 21, police ticketed Mary E. Martin, 56, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 22.

New York State Police blotter:

Petit larceny: Natalie H. White, 37, of Hogansburg was charged at 7:25 p.m. on July 19 at the Tribal PD station and released with an appearance ticket.

Massena Village Police blotter:

Inadequate muffler: Brad R. Oakes, 28, of Hogansburg, was additionally cited with speeding at 7:07 p.m. July 24 on East Hatfield Street.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Community Police Service Traffic Unit is investigating a collision that occurred on Saturday July 23rd, 2016 at approximately 6:30pm at the intersection of Second Street and Glengarry Boulevard.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle that sent the motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries to call Cst. Matt Dupuis at 613-933-5000 ext. 2755.
