Tribal Police Attend White House Police Briefing

On July 15th, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Lieutenant Ted Cook, Chief of Police Matt Rourke and Lieutenant Decota Thompson attended The White House "Advancing 21st Century Policing Briefing." The briefing was hosted by the Task Force on 21st Century Policing created by U.S. President Barack Obama in December 2015. They were joined by Penobscot Nation Police Chief Robert Bryant and other law enforcement from across the country to hear task force recommendations for helping to keep police officers and tribal communities safe.
