Clarkson University to Host Green Construction Expo

Clarkson University will host a Green Construction Expo on Wednesday, August 31, from noon to 7 p.m. at Cheel Arena in Potsdam, N.Y. The event is free and open to the public.

Vendors from across the North Country and beyond will showcase their green building and landscaping products and services and offer DIY demonstrations for guests interested in learning more about how to upgrade their homes and gardens in sustainable ways.

The day will end with a keynote address (speaker yet to be announced) at 6 p.m. and breakout sessions led by industry leaders from 7-8 p.m., all on Clarkson’s Potsdam Campus.

The New York Upstate community of the U.S. Green Building Council is co-sponsoring the educational portion of the event; offering a class in different ways you can build sustainably.
