TRIBE HELPS HONOR AKWESASNE'S MILITARY VETERANS WITH FLIGHT

On behalf of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, Chief Ron LaFrance Jr. presented a $3,600 donation to Joanne Reyome and Cynthia Nadeau for the North Country Honor Flight. The Tribe is helping honor Akwesasne's military veterans by covering transportation costs for nine veterans to view the World War II and Korean War Memorials on September 10th. Mohawk veterans who will travel to Washington, DC include: Levi Oakes, Jack Leaf, Jack Treptow, Lud Beeson, Vernie Herne, Charles Jacobs, Louis D. Jacobs, Jr., Benjamin Kelly and Donald White.
