Job Title: Advertising & Media Sales Representative

SUMMARY: The tasks and duties of the Advertising & Media Sales Representative are to sell or solicit specific advertising mediums and product as the solution that will connect the client with their target audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Exhibit a friendly and courteous manner when dealing with our fellow associates and customers.

• Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts.

• Provide clients with estimates of the cost of advertising products or services.

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising.

• Inform customers of available options for advertisement mediums and artwork, and provide samples.

• Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts, using computer.

• Draw up contracts for advertising work, and collect payments due.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Equivalent to completion of two years of college-level coursework in business or a field related to the work; or equivalent combination in marketing and sales. Media production experience is considered to be an asset and must possess word processing skills.
