The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that Bell Canada will be studying the feasibility of providing fibre optics to the homes within the districts of Kawehno:ke, Kana:takon, and Tsi Snaihne.
Council supports the canvasing of Akwesasne for the purpose of determining the feasibility of fibre to the home.
Bell Canada field workers will be in each district to canvas existing infrastructure including a number of homes and telephone poles. Bell Canada field workers will be dressed in blue hats and orange safety vests with Bell logo making them easily identifiable. The Bell Canada field workers will be working in the districts from June 13-21, 2016.
