How Giant Pandas are Endangered

Does anyone here like giant pandas, white rhinos, Siberian tigers, or polar bears? If you like any of those animals, then they all have something in common. They are all endangered animals. Endangered animals are animals that are in danger of becoming extinct. If an animal is extinct, that means that there are no more of that animal species left in the world, like dinosaurs. Today, I will be talking about how giant pandas are endangered.

Giant pandas are going extinct from habitat destruction. Habitat destruction means that an animals' habitat is being destroyed by humans, and their enormous work machines. The reason for habitat destruction is to build more buildings for businesses, schools, and homes. Humans are the ones causing this habitat destruction.

The population of giant pandas is very small and shrinks almost every day. There are only 1000-2000 out in the wild, which may seem a lot but really, it's not. Some giant pandas are kept in zoos and it's even more likely for panda population to go down. It's more likely that pandas in zoos can die. Giant pandas are very close to being extinct, facing extinction.

Giant pandas live in different parts of China in mountains. They are located in the mountains of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu. On the top of the mountains, giant pandas do many things such as eat, sleep, build homes and do basically anything.

Pandas would eat almost anything around China. 99% of their diet is bamboo, other grasses, small rodents and musk deer fawns. They would eat pretty much anything edible for them all around their habitat area.

I wonder if people are actually helping pandas. What can you do to help save giant pandas? You can donate to the wildlife place. You can look online to find out what to do. Why don't you be a hero and save giant pandas from being killed by starvation, habitat destruction and pollution! Thanks for listening!
