Lots of things happening last weekend on Kawehnoke at the Recreation Center.
They held their annual Scavenger Hunt with seven teams participating. There was also a bingo and spaghetti dinner held with proceeds going to the Island Summer Cultural program.
The bingo jackpot was won by Pauline Thompson, and Jennifer Derouchie was the caller doing an excellent job as usual.
The Scavenger Hunt consisted of identifying landmarks on Kawehnoke. Each team was issued a packet containing pictures of Kawehnoke landmarks and they had to find out where they were. That packet also contained Trivia about Kawehnoke and Brain Teasers.
