The Akwesasne Wolves Novice club hosted teams from Kahnawake, South Stormont, Canton and NGS last weekend.
In the local team's first game they were handed a 3-1 loss to Canton and their second game saw them lose to 8-2 to South Stormont #2.
Their third game saw them blank Kahnawake 10-0. That same Kahnawake team was blanked by South Stormont #1 13-0 and also by NGS 14-0.
Other games saw South Stormont #2 beat Canton 2-0, South Stormont #1 defeated NGS 4-2 and the final was an all South Stormont matchup with team #2 winning 5-2.
There were also raffles and the Chuck-A-Puck toss as well as a concession stand. All volunteers as well as players and coaches for this event are to be congratulated for their hard work and dedication.
