On Friday, January 8, 2016, the St. Regis Mohawk School honored the Students of the Month for December. National Elementary Honor Society President Sunny Thompson-Garrow spoke about the college of the month, which was Florida State University. The character trait of the month was Generosity, and along with exemplifying that trait, Students of the Month also exemplify the school's motto Sken:nen Ratiha:wi.
