Akwesasne Adult Broomball

The Akwesasne Adult Broomball league continued last Friday with the Pawn Shop playing back to back games. In their first game Jake Lazore scored twice as they tied with Ray Jan Windows and Doors 3-3. Dwight Bero scored once.

In their second game they took on Ohnenatas the and lost 6-3. John Jacobs and Dewey Thompson scored two each for Ohnenatas with Hannah Garrow and Blake Diabo scoring one each.

Bero scored two in the loss and Lazore scored one.

In recent action the Pawn Shop and Ohnenatas tied 4-4 with Ratsahahiens Adams, Bero, Olivia Cook and Amanda King scoring for Pawn Shop. Diabo scored a pair for Ohnenatas and Thompson netted one.

In another game the Pawn Shop's Bero scored both their goals in a 4-2 loss to Ray Jans and another Pawn Shop game saw them defeat Cornwall 5-2. Katie Bero, Derek Hops, Olivia Cook, Matt Thompson and Dwight Bero scored in that win.
