A Voice from the Eastern Door
Andrew Henry Mitchell, age 64 years, of Saint Regis, Quebec, passed away on December 1, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 19, 1951. He was married to Cheryl Ann Morrissette, the marriage ended in divorce. He loved his family dearly and spent a lot of his time visiting with them. He liked watching old western movies, listening to Elvis music, visiting with his family, beading, casino, bingo and yard/garage sales. Andrew worked as a demolition man in his young years. He was a communicant of the St. Regis Mission Church. He is survived by his children Marion (Jason), Sabrina (George), Andrew Jr. (Lacey), Roseanne (Pedro) and Herbie, all of Akwesasne, his grandchildren; Deanna, Thomas, Brandon, Seanna, Reese, Kayden, George, Donovan, Dayton, Dexten, and Angel.
His brothers, Freddie, Gilbert (Kate), his sisters, Madeline, Nancy (Norman), Rita, Elizabeth, Emily (Camil), Suzanne (Edward) and MaryAnn (Leonard).
Andrew is predeceased by his parents Grace and Lawrence Mitchell, his brothers Phillip, William, John, Herbie, Tommy, Bernie and Simon King, his sister Helen Mitchell Kennedy. Andrew is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Resting at the Snye Homemakers Center from 11 A.M. on Friday, December 4, 2015. Funeral Saturday December 5, 2015 at 1 P.M. in the Snye Homemakers Center. Memorial Meal to follow.
