Drug felony - On Nov. 9 at 8:41 p.m., Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged two people with felony drug possession following a traffic stop. Justin P. Johnson, 22 of Akwesasne is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, and failure to produce driver’s license, failure to produce registration, inadequate headlights. Devon M. Johnson, 17, Akwesasne is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, and unlawful possession of marihuana. A tribal police blotter entry did not specify what drug they allegedly possessed or how much. Both were arraigned in Bombay Town Court and Franklin County Jail with bail set at $25,000 cash and $50,000 bond each. They are scheduled for a felony hearing on Nov. 13 at 3 p.m.
DWI - On Nov. 10 at 8:22 a.m., Tribal Police charged Ian T. Oakes, 35, of Hogansburg with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol level. Police allege that Oakes’ blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent. He is scheduled to appear in Bombay Town Court on Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.
AUO - On Nov. 4 at 11:07 a.m., Tribal Police charged Jason J. Anderson, 21, of Hogansburg with driver’s view obstructed, unlicensed driver and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He is scheduled to appear in Bombay Town Court on Dec. 31 at 5 p.m.
Bench warrant - On Nov. 6 at 5:42 p.m., Tribal Police arrested Amanda L. Parmer, 27, of Massena for issuing bad checks. She was arraigned at Bombay Town Court and released on her own recognizance with orders to reappear Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
Insufficient tail lamps- On Nov. 6 at 6:13 p.m., Tribal Police ticketed Nicholas K. Henderson, 28, Akwesasne. On Nov. 7 at 3:54 a.m., Tribal Police ticketed Iakohonwentsiawakon Mitchell, 20, of Hogansburg. On Nov. 14 at 12:38 a.m., Tribal Police ticketed Larry I. Monacelli, 25, of Massena.
Inadequate Headlight- On Nov. 7, at 12:28 a.m., Tribal Police ticketed Justin E. Terrance, 16, of Hogansburg with inadequate headlight and operating vehicle out of class. On Nov. 13 at 10:05 p.m., Tribal Police ticketed Owen M. Francis, 25, of Akwesasne.
Speeding - On Nov. 9 at 1:04 p.m., Tribal Police ticketed Christine K. Ward, 43, of Akwesasne for allegedly traveling at 62 MPH in a posted 45 MPH zone. On Nov. 13 at 7:37 a.m., Tribal Police ticketed April K. Beaubien, 37, of Hogansburg, additionally citing failure to produce driver’s license. Police allege she was traveling at 60 MPH in a posted 45 MPH zone. On Nov. 13 at 11:32 p.m., Tribal Police ticketed Travis S. Thompson, 17, of Rooseveltown for allegedly traveling at 69 MPH in a posted 55 MPH zone. On Nov. 14 at 11:46 p.m., Tribal Police ticketed Tracy A. Trudel, 46, of Malone for allegedly traveling at 53 MPH in a posted 35 MPH zone.
Fail to use designated lane - On Nov. 8 at 8:07 p.m., Tribal Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on state Route 37 and ticketed Jared M. Peryea, 58, of Ellenburg Depot for failed to use designated lane.
Disorderly conduct - On Nov. 9 at 3:16 a.m., Tribal Police responded to a domestic dispute complaint and charged Denis J. Raymond, 55, of Burlington, Vt. and Bonnie Lee, 48, of South Burlington, Vt. Each with disorderly conduct. He is scheduled to appear in Bombay Town Court on Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. She is scheduled to appear in Bombay Town Court on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
Cornwall, ON – Noah King, 22 of Akwesasne was arrested on November 16th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation conditions and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 16th, 2015 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as King was being held for an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and King remained in custody for a bail hearing.
