No tricks but lots of treats at Akwesasne Schools and Daycare Centers as the kids all had a blast.
The Snye School was treated to a hayride around the area with stops to get treats from the Totas at Iakhihsohtha and more treats from the Totas at Iohahiio Adult Ed. The drivers of the wagons donated their time and equipment, but the Snye School made a donation to them anyway. It was a little cold and windy last Friday but that didn't dampen the Halloween spirit for the students.
Each of the schools held dances in their gym and watched movies in their classrooms with the teachers getting in on the fun. All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend for the spooky season.
