A Voice from the Eastern Door

Niawen

We would like to say "Thank You" to the following people:

Smokers Hideaway for letting us use their parking lot to sell lasagna lunches.

The late Charlie "Punkin" White for allowing us to have our annual softball tournament there.

The umpires that donated their time: Pat Phillips, Ross Driscoll, Joe Sawatis and Prey Lazore.

Our scorekeepers Jimmy "McDuck," Dalton Thomas and Corina David.

37 West for letting us hold our Ice Bucket Challenge, and our courageous participants Ron Lawrence, Ryan "Duck" Jacobs, Vince Thompson and Noonie Thomas.

Roger Mitchell and the River Mohawks for providing the entertainment for the past 9 years at our benefit dance.

The Blue House for letting us host our annual benefit dance there.

The community members that graciously donated baskets for the benefit dance fundraiser.

Lorraine Thomas for hosting a Tupperware fundraiser.

Creeations Hair Salon, Lauren Cree, Tanisha Thompson and Tisha Thompson for hosting a Cuts for Cancer event fundraiser.

Ashley and Carey Terrance for letting us use their van to travel to the walk.

Without the help from our community we would not be able to make this an annual event.

A "Big Niawen:kowa" to the community and everyone who purchased our ducks, lasagna lunches, 50/50 tickets, TV tickets, played in our softball tournament or attended our benefit dance. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Also, thank you to all the people that joined our group to honor our mother Tina Thompson and participating in all of our fundraisers and events to make this very successful.

Thank you

Tina's Pride Breast Cancer Group
