Snye Recreation Annual Halloween Party

Snye Recreations Annual Halloween Party took place Saturday, October 24th. The weather was beautiful. The event was well attended with over 300 attending to see the amazing costumes for this year. Once again the Judges had a tough job choosing the best costume from one of the five categories. Costume judging started promptly at 3:00 p.m. Throughout the judging Door Prizes were drawn with each prize being claimed.

Thanks to our judges this year Jeannine Lazore, Connie Lazore, Tracy Jacobs, Kim Herne and Marlon Johnson. Once judging was completed the children and some adults were treated to a wagon ride around the area. We had 4 wagons and all were filled. Once they returned they were treated to a supper of soup, hot dogs, cake and drinks, followed by Carnival Style Games winning small toys and candy. Congratulations to all our Winners.

Winners of our Candy Guessing Game were Iakonikonhriio Peters-Martin who won the $100.00

American Express Card who guessed 801 and the actual number was 843. Colston Jacobs won the $100.00 Wal-Mart Card who guessed 253 and the actual number was 263. Both winners receive the jar, candy and the Candy Bouquets.

Niawen Kowa to the Committee Volunteers for decorating, cleaning, setting up tables and chairs, tearing down the tables and chairs, cleaning again, prepping and cooking the meal. To the Tractor drivers, those who passed out raffle tickets, prizes, took names and pictures of winners, running the games, without all your help things wouldn't run smoothly. You are an awesome Group of Volunteers, everyone looks forward to this event each year.
