IAKHIHSOHTHA TRIVIA NIGHT FUNDRAISER

On Friday, October 23rd, community members joined together at the American Legion Post 1479 for a trivia night fundraiser for the Activities Department at Iakhihsohtha Lodge. There were 16 trivia teams for the evening. The 1st Place team was "Jamie's Mom's Team" ~ Carole Ross, Cocoa D'Agostino, Valerie Garrow, and Lydia Garrow. The 2nd place team, "Witch's Brew," consisted of Barb Kelly, Ben Kelly, Bruce Kelly, and Renee Jock. The 3rd place team was the "Double H's" ~ Terri Hill, Dave Hill, Kim Herne, and Norm Herne. All three teams generously donated their winnings back to Iakhihsohtha. Thank you so much! The "Napoleon Dyno-mite" team won the prize for best team costume. Their team consisted of Amanda King, Jade Gabri, Brandi King, and Leanne Hill.

Thank you to all who donated baskets for the Mohawk Auction. We appreciate your time and generosity to our fundraising effort. The raffle for the 50" Samsung Smart TV generated $1300 in ticket sales! Although many people who purchased tickets were convinced they would be the winners... the man who got to take the TV home was Norm Herne. Congratulations, Norm!

A few local businesses responded to our request for donations. Please show your appreciation on behalf of Iakhihsohtha by frequenting their businesses: Purple Ribbon Gift Shop, Dunkin' Donuts, #9, Jock's Kwikstop, Divalissa's Homemade Treats, and Thompson's Convenience Store. Extra Special Thanks is extended to the amazing pizza joints on our territory... all the pizzas Friday night were donated by the Tackle Box, Brass Horse, Atomic, and Magic Mike's!

Successful fundraising activities are always the best when many people contribute. Thank you Rhonda Gray, Allix Gibson, Ratsiénhahiens Adams, Dave Oakes, Cheryl Lazore, and Keyalee Billie.
